Starting tomorrow, October 12, we will publish one short video and one article every day on a single topic: document signing with Attest. Each video runs under a minute. Each article explains, in plain language, what the video shows and why it matters.
Why a series
Signing a document looks simple. You upload a file, add the signers, and wait for their signatures. Most people never ask the question that matters most: what can that signature prove later?
Contracts, policies, approvals and agreements often need to be proven months or years after they are signed, to an auditor, a court, a customer or a partner. With most e-signature tools, that proof depends on the vendor. The signature, the audit trail and the certificate all live on the vendor's servers. If the vendor changes its records, closes your account or goes out of business, your evidence goes with it.
Attest was built to remove that dependency. Doing so takes several guarantees working together, and each one deserves its own explanation.
Why break it down
Our launch film covers everything Attest does in under a minute. That works well as a first impression, but it moves quickly past ideas that are new to most people: signing with a passkey, encrypting a contract before it leaves the browser, a signed copy that proves its own pages, a proof that reveals nothing but the fact that you signed.
Each of these ideas is easy to understand on its own and easy to miss in a summary. So we are giving each one a day: one question, one short video, one article.
What each day covers
- Monday, October 12. Imagine. Everything Attest does, in under a minute.
- Tuesday, October 13. One passkey prompt. Signing with Face ID or a fingerprint, with no account and no password.
- Wednesday, October 14. Private by design. Contracts encrypted in your browser, unreadable to us.
- Thursday, October 15. One word. The stamp, the QR code, and a signed copy where a single changed word fails verification.
- Friday, October 16. Prove it. Proving that you signed an agreement, and revealing nothing else.
Each video and article will appear here on the blog and in our video library on its day.
